A number of skin infections may complicate different occupations depending on theworking environment and level of exposure to a particular agent. These in turn may affect the productivity of an individual worker and ultimately the company as a whole. This review aims to highlight some common and important skin infections that may be acquired at work. Epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prevention will be covered.
