A 6-year-old boy underwent 131I-MIBG therapy for recurrent neuroblastoma. On posttherapy scan, there were new foci of increased MIBG activity in the anterior abdomen, which were not seen on pretherapy 123I-MIBG scan. Physical examination demonstrated that these new foci of activity corresponded to the sites of asymptomatic erythema, which had of unknown etiology and was spontaneously resolved without treatment.
